| RED CATHEDRAL PRODUCTIONS is a sole proprietorship which produces independent feature films of the low budget, artsy-fartsy variety. If you suspect this is a factory setup to crank out cheap little movies, you'd be correct. If you think we are just after a fast buck by doing so, I strongly suggest you actually watch one of our movies. They are arty, nervy and often willfully oddball affairs that manage to skew any genre they court with a fractured take akin to your dog delivering a sermon. All features are made using CONSUMER grade gear, editing software, and music which can be licenced by anyone for use. Features are shot with cast and crew sometimes working back end, in trade or for shared distribution rights- which allows for remarkable things with very limited resources (and for actors to sometimes earn considerably more than they might in paid roles). Titles are released as DVDs, downloads and objects, using on demand services which help the environment and eliminate out of pocket production costs on our end, while allowing us to reach as many people as we can. We make very distinctive movies, in a unique way. And that's how we saved Roosevelt. Sondheim joke. |
